In an era of professional staging and expert photography, the gap between a property's presentation and its reality has never been wider. This is not a criticism of marketing — it is simply a reminder that buying property requires looking beyond what is shown to what is actually there.
What Photographs Cannot Show
Photographs cannot show you the quality of electrical wiring behind the walls. They cannot reveal whether the plumbing uses premium fittings or budget alternatives. They cannot tell you about the neighbourhood at 6am, the sound insulation between floors, or the quality of estate management.
The Inspection Framework
We recommend that every buyer visit a property at least twice — at different times of day and in different weather conditions. Bring a qualified surveyor if possible. Ask pointed questions about construction methodology, material specifications, and maintenance history.
The photograph shows you the property. The inspection shows you the truth.
